The UK’s leading supplier of driver medicals – D4Drivers – is partnering with the Road Haulage Association – a move set to improve and promote health and wellbeing throughout the haulage industry.
D4Drivers has been a member of the RHA for a number of years and we will now invest further in the industry by providing access to affordable and reliable medical services for all members.
Tom Blain, who will manage the RHA D4Drivers bookings and communication, said: “Having joined RHA back in November 2018, we quickly learned that it is far more than just a place for members to network and buy discounted products and services.
“It is a dedicated organisation working tirelessly to represent its members at all levels. Our first year of membership was incredibly rewarding and we are looking forward to providing our medical services and support to RHA members across the country.”
D4Drivers is a specialist provider of medical services to the Transport industry, operating a network of more than 75 clinic locations across the UK, examining over 5,000 drivers every month.
RHA members will receive access to D4Drive, our bespoke booking system which allows transport managers to book HGV medicals through a company log-in, as well as distribute virtual voucher codes for drivers to use. Access to D4Drivers’ booking system is available for all RHA members who open a free business account with us.
Immediate discounts are also available on HGV medicals booked with D4Drivers at our nationwide network of clinics.
In addition to discounted HGV medicals our sister companies Summerfield Healthcare and MyOccHealth will be offering health checks to businesses in the haulage sector and occupational health services respectively, again with favourable discounts for RHA members. Further information on these services can be found at d4drivers.uk/rha.
The team at D4Drivers also want to say a thank you to the members of the Road Haulage Association who stepped up to help the business during the coronavirus pandemic lockdown.
D4Drivers was forced to close its clinics and halt all services in March 2020 when lockdown started, but with drivers facing uncertainty over their licences – which would expire if they could not get a medical, they knew they needed to re-open as soon as possible.
With their clinic venues remaining closed, a call went out to the RHA and its members to help the business find premises that could be used to complete medicals and get drivers back on the road.
The response was fantastic and the team at D4Drivers were flooded with emails from businesses offering them warehouses, spare offices and portacabins so that they could continue assessing drivers.
We look forward to further developing our relationship with the RHA and haulage/logistics businesses, for more information about any of our services if you are an RHA member please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call our dedicated line 0333 0153 613.
