During the current Covid-19 restrictions, you may be surprised to hear that D4Drivers have exhibited at two shows during the summer – Truckfest Peterborough and Truckfest South West – and we have another one coming up.
The Truckfest events have excellent Covid-19 precautions and social distancing measures, and Truckfest West Midlands and Wales will take place at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern on 26th and 27th September.
Even with the strict safety measures in place, the shows are a great opportunity to meet people in the haulage industry, and we have been able to help answer lots of questions drivers have about medical issues, as well as booking a number of drivers’ medicals during the shows.
Our HGV driver medical service has been very well received due to our nationwide coverage and competitive pricing, and it’s been great to speak to so many of our existing business customers.
We have been pleasantly surprised to hear that so many drivers at the shows had already attended a medical with our doctors previously, or had an existing booking with us.
We are now looking forward to the final Truckfest we are attending this year, Truckfest West Midlands and Wales at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern.
The D4Drivers team will have an exhibition stand, where we will be offering discount HGV medical bookings and business services, as well as giving away lots of free merchandise.
We will also be raising funds for the Road Haulage Association Benevolent Fund, which supports members and former members of the RHA, their employees and families.
As part of our commitment to the industry as the RHA health partner, we will have a nurse on site during both days carrying out blood pressure checks, cholesterol and diabetes assessments completely free of charge.
