Our team at D4Drivers were hitting the road today (Wednesday 14th October) – heading for Lymm Truckwash in Cheshire to help the largest and oldest truck wash in Europe celebrate it’s first birthday since moving to its new base at Poplar Park on October 14th last year.
We have an excellent working relationship with Lymm Truckwash and began advertising with them when they first opened at their new venue – the place where the M6 and M56 cross and an ideal location for drivers.
It’s proved to be a great partnership over the past year and one which sees us paying regular visits to hand out free merchandise to drivers.
Since our involvement at the site, more than 250 drivers who have attended their HGV medical with D4Drivers said the reason they booked with us was because they saw our sign at the truck wash or have our details from days when we gave out merchandise.
D4Drivers staff and doctors are working tirelessly to keep drivers on the road and it’s great to meet up with other businesses who are just as committed during Covid to keep the industry going and the country generally. It really does give us a wonderful feeling!
Any drivers visiting Lymm Truckwash today are welcome to ask our team any questions they have about getting that all-important HGV medical – and after the recent exhibition at Truckfest we are anticipating lots more positive engagement today. . .all socially distanced, of course!
Lymm Truckwash was started by John and Anne Cardwell way back in 1967 and has been a pillar of the local community ever since. It is now run by daughter Laura, maintaining the family-run business ethic which has proved to be so successful for more than half a century. It is open between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 11.30am on Saturdays.
In case you miss us today, it’s worth reminding you that we will be back at Lymm Truckwash on November 19th for the finale of National Lorry Week. Make a note of the date and we look forward to seeing you there.
