Our team at D4Drivers loves nothing more than getting out and about, taking to the road to provide easy access to our driver medical service – and we are delighted to announce we will be at Aintree Racecourse on Saturday 27th March providing motorsport medicals for Aintree circuit club members and anyone who needs their motorsport medical.
Aintree holds a special place in the history of motor racing and the Aintree Circuit Club has a proud reputation of being the world’s first track-based motor club, which has been in continuous operation since 1954.
The famous circuit played host to the British Grand Prix five times between 1955 and 1962, but on March 27 it will be providing an opportunity for racing hopefuls to keep their ambitions firmly on track by getting their motorsport medical.
Our medicals day at Aintree is an annual event and we are delighted to be working in partnership with the club to provide this important service. Members and non-members of the club can book their motorsport medical with us now for the day and we are expecting the take-up to be high.
Motor sport is a dangerous game and it’s important for drivers to meet certain criteria. An examination by a doctor, confirming drivers are fit to compete, is often required to obtain a licence from Motorsport UK (formerly Motor Sport Assocation) – which is where we come in.
Our motorsport medical session is running 10am-1pm Saturday 27th March at Aintree Racecourse and you can book by completing our online booking portal below:
D4Drivers will continue to provide our vital driver medical service to our customers during the current restrictions in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and our opening times are unaffected.
As we fall under the Government's list of key workers and help keep HGV and PCV drivers, as well as taxi drivers and paramedics on the road we will remain fully open throughout the restrictions as they start to ease in May 2021. You are still able to attend medical appointments during these restrictions, as confirmed by gov.uk: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/covid-19-coronavirus-restrictions-what-you-can-and-cannot-do#healthcare-and-public-services.
All of our clinics are going ahead with additional safety precautions in place. You can feel safe in the knowledge that when you attend your appointment with D4Drivers extra precautions have been taken to ensure you are in a COVID safe environment, including regular cleaning of all surfaces and equipment and strict PPE and social distancing measures.
