To ensure we are helping driver training schools and the transport industry return to normal service after lockdown, we are providing a special discount offer to all HGV training providers across the UK for candidates with expired medicals.

If any of your candidates’ medicals have expired and require completing again before they can progress with their training, you can upload their details here along with supporting evidence and we will contact you to arrange their new medical at the discounted price.

This offer is valid throughout 2021 so regardless of when testing services become available again, we will help you get your business back to normal operation.

Terms and conditions

For each candidate requiring a new medical you must complete a contact form.
Supporting evidence will ideally include a scan or photo of the expired, completed D4 form including the Doctors signature and date, and the candidates name and details.
Alternatively a booking confirmation for the previous medical appointment displaying candidate name (preferable), email address and the date and time of the email
Other evidence may be accepted on a case by case basis
Discounted medicals are offered at the significantly reduced rate of £25 (inc VAT) per medical. Standard price is £55 inc VAT.
This offer is available to existing business customers as well as new business customers, however a contact from must be completed for any bookings for which the discounted rate is being requested.
The previous medical does not need to have been completed at a D4Drivers clinic. We will provide a discount to drivers regardless of who completed their previous medical
Before we confirm and book your first discounted appointment, you must open a free business account with us and subsequently hold that account for 12 months.
At least 1 booking will need to be made each month for the first 12 months in order to maintain the account. There are no usage limits thereafter. This requirement will not be enforced until HGV testing has resumed.
If you make less than one booking per calendar month your account will be closed and we will be unable to provide you with any further discounted appointments
Your discounted bookings will count towards your 1 medical per month requirement.
This offer is discretionary and discount will be confirmed on a case by case basis by telephone or email once the evidence has been checked by our team. We may contact you and ask for alternative evidence.
We reserve the right to decline or rescind this offer at any time.

Evidence accepted: A scanned copy or picture of the expired D4 form, (clearly signed and dated by the candidate and the Doctor) OR a copy of the candidate's booking confirmation for their medical appointment OR other clear evidence of an expired medical (approved on case-by-case basis). If there are multiple candidates with expired medicals, you must submit a separate contact form for each expired medical.

Referral Codes – For those businesses who don’t want to arrange the medical, we can offer referral codes. The driver can use this to book their appointment and the charge is allocated to your account.
On-Site Service – Arrange for a Doctor to visit your site to complete medicals for multiple drivers. We can visit anywhere in the UK with just 14 days’ notice.
Dedicated Account manager – By formalising your relationship with us, we can allocate someone to your business to ensure you’re always getting the best service.

Bespoke Online Booking System

We have developed our own purpose-built system to improve access to driver medicals for the transport industry. Specifically designed to fit the needs of our customers, the “D4Drive” system offers two main benefits:

Login access – Receive a personal login and manage your drivers or customers bookings easily, and quickly. This will allow you to book appointments, view your booking history and check whether drivers attended their appointments. Avoid the back-and-forth hassle of arranging a suitable time and simply do it yourself.
Referral codes – if you don’t want to book medicals directly, but still wish to have an account to ensure that drivers are seen by a reputable, experienced Doctor, D4Drivers will give you referral codes which you can give to drivers enabling the to book an appointment themselves. By using the code, the driver is not asked for payment and the booking is added to your account and appears on your next invoice.

On-site Service – We bring Doctors to you

Our on site service is popular with training companies and business with a large fleet. If you need a large number of medicals completed and it’s more convenient to have a Doctor come to you, we will send a local Doctor to your site. D4Drivers can arrange a one-off visit or set up a regular arrangement, minimising disruption to your business and shift patterns. We can visit anywhere in the UK and requests can be made by email to sales@d4drivers.uk.

Appointments within 5 days

When a driver’s license is due to expire, its important that they can access a Doctor quickly.

Neither the driver nor the business can afford for them to be out of action. This is why we have a centrally planned clinic network which allows us to deliver the best possible service to drivers and businesses. Most of our clinics operate at least once a week and nearly all of our customers access an appointment within 5 days of booking.
